Visiting your own DA!?

Today I worked on a bunch of stuff in my town so I could update my dream town at the perfect time at night. IT took Luna forevverrrrr & (to my surprise) she informed me that I now have a new dream address
It was strange because I update mine frequently as I am obsessing with making it perfect at the moment. I searched "Apacheta" in the town names and my dream town with the previous address was available for me to go and visit. It was surreal but definitely cool if you haven't tried it before (which I'm sure a lot of you have).

My question is this: I asked Luna before who my last visitor was before she updated my address. She told me it was "Lily" from "Flora" (who I was unable to track down). After I visited myself I asked her who the last visitor and her response didn't change. I just wonder if she will tell me about the people who visit both dream addresses now? Or just the newest one? I think she might have changed my dream address because I build two cemeteries and some flower arrangements since the last time I updated a few days ago. It's strange how it all works.

Yep, that happen sometimes for some reason, I don't think I've ever had any of mine changed, I don't think I've ever 'qualified' for whatever the thing is that makes it change.

I've always wanted to visit my own (because sometimes I forget how it looked last time I updated it lol) so it was like a dream come true. I love when people send me screenshots after they've visited my town.

Since the update Luna will randomly assign you a new dream address (or you can choose to get a new one) & then your town can be visited by you All previous addresses can be visited by you. I've seen towns that have 3-4 dream addresses while searching with Luna. They can all be visited, but it can make things a bit confusing, so it's good to always use DA's when trying to visit someone specific.

You can make one today, then load your game tomorrow & tell Luna you want a new dream address.
Then you will be able to visit your first dream town <3

Very interesting; I'm not sure what makes it change but I wonder if they did this on purpose post-update?
I recently saw an article about celebs who play ACNL & saw Cole Sprouse's DA. I tried to visit but he created it before the update

I saw a video of his town though & he has inspired my "gnome room" I am currently working on

And thank you so much~! Your town sounds lovely; when I read "tea party and fairy tales" I was reeled in it's very unique and I'm excited to see Biscotti- I've not been to a town like it before.

For one of my current towns unfortunately...
My town Chocolat has two different DAs:

The old one: 5B00-0011-4868
The new and current one: 5B00-0011-F739

And what makes it worse! The old one will be above the new one when you search though the Dream Suite database! I wish it would disappear!

Biscotti is my old town, it was completed and I wanted a new challenge so I started a new town called Nothing on Jan 1. I still visit my DA of Biscotti once in a while and I feel nostalgic .. but starting a new town was very interesting and I’m very happy now.

And I can see that visiting, but it doesn’t give a sad feeling, it just feels peaceful and serene. Your house was very unique, I loved the main room and all the plants!
It felt really fresh!
I love towns that are saved in dreams at night. The color of your path also was perfect for that. Overall I say good job!
Are you still trying to collect hybrids or is it supposed to have a bunch of colorful mixed flowers?
I would love to see your town with all purple, blue, black and white flowers only.
But maybe that would be too boring in your opinion, it’s cool how it is anyways!

I don't know anyone irl who plays acnl & I've been completely offline since I started playing 4 years ago. I didn't use to google anything or really have any concept of "rare" items etc. lol. I ended up missing out on a lot because I wanted an "authentic" experience" but now I'm enjoying the Dream Address feature for the first time ever & I've been researching every facet of the game (including hybrids lol).
You were spot on; I totally do want a monochromatic theme when I'm close to being finished with my pwps. I'm going to use black flowers around the cemetery areas and then stick to mostly white. Though I do want to have an area with many species of blue flowers in a cross pattern.

I've been playing ahead of the current date because I've had some time off & I recently got to February 25th; all the gorgeous snow is officially gone :'c My path totally does not look right without snow on the ground but I love it & I've no idea how to save any more that 8 patterns at a time. I need to try making my own paths some day lol

Oh about making own paths: I wanted to do that from a long time, and I tried but gave up xD they never look good enough to me! Now I’m thinking about having natural paths! It’s going to take some time but I will try. I read that the best way to do that though it’s in springtime /summer , when no snow is around. Otherwise the snow would make it harder for the grass to deteriotate. I’ll try in a month or so!
