Villagers who aren't "Alive"

I've been trying to organize plans for my towns lately. One of them is called "The Void," and I wanted the theme to be pretty ethereal. Fill it with fields of dandelions, sparse trees and stumps, etc. I wanted the villagers to sort of be "not exactly alive" villagers. I've made a list, but I feel like I'm missing someone obvious.

Can anyone think of which villagers, in this list or outside of it, who would make the most sense as not being all the way "alive"?

I see Katt as a sabortooth cat. And I don't know why, but I always see Papi as a ghost. And Okapis were thought to be extinct.

I can definitely see Coco and Ankha being "not alive" mostly because Coco doesn't really have eyes, she looks like a shell of her former self, and Ankha being Egpytian themed in a sense she could be an ancient pharaoh who has passed long ago. Lucky would work well too, since he looks like a mummy.

I feel like Ribbot could work if you are going for a futuristic type of feel, like maybe he's not alive in the sense of being a robot? If that makes sense lol.

Good luck with this theme though, I think it's really neat!

Try Biskit. He moved out a while back, and his eyes are just big white balls.

I've always thought that Rodeo looks like some kind of undead Nazgul/Ringwraith animal that you might see in a Lord of the Rings movie.

I checked again and I also want to add that Rodeo could possibly work too! I can picture him like a giant evil spirit since his design is dark looking with piercing red eyes! And maybe Roscoe too. xD

I love your idea but what are you doing with Clay, Tia and Tucker? They are very much alive.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't dandelions vanish after a while? It might be hard to make a field of them. I'm gonna look for more dead villagers for you. Oh wait, Tucker is a mammoth and those are extinct. I got ya now.

Peck has no pupils which makes him kinda zombie-like. Same with Biskit.
Rodeo and Roscoe can be like dark demons.
Stitches is a stuffed animal
You could have Elvis the lion represent Elvis Presley
Muffy isn't dead but she's dark enough to fit the part

I love your idea but what are you doing with Clay, Tia and Tucker? They are very much alive.

Clay's design is based on the Dogu figurines made in prehistoric Japan so technically he represents an inanimate object and the same kind of goes for Tia who is basically a giant teapot.

Oooh, good call on Stitches, that was an obvious one! I was actually also considering Katt, just because of her wild design, so I like the idea of calling her a sabre-tooth tiger/panther.

I also like the idea of Rodeo/Roscoe being demons! Hmmm... I'll have to think more on it.

And I few people were questioning: for Clay/Tia/Coco/Ribbot (and Stitches), I was thinking of spirits channeling objects? Like, they're all based on "inanimate objects" (ancient pot, tea pot, gyroid, metal robot). A little bit like the Island of Misfit Toys, they're objects that were discarded and came to life?

Also dandelions are pretty tricky, but I've already filled up 2 characters' storage to the brim with dandelions, but we'll see if I can actually fill a whole town :~)

Peck has big white soulless eyes
Rasher is terrifying....
Pietro could be interesting for this... add a little creepy clown factor to the mix

This is a really cool idea! I agree with what most have said in listing Stitches, Roscoe, and Rodeo. I think Cobb might also fit the bill, with his somewhat undead-looking skintone. Also Marcel has always looked a little off to me, as if his face was painted on.

Biskit, looks like a stuffed animal come to life because of his eyes and colors to me. Not as obvious as Stitches of course, but I always got a plush vibe from him.
Barold, he looks like a caveman to me and would fit with Tucker nicely.
Chadder, he looks like cheese, haha.
Zucker, also looks like Food come alive.
Vesta, has those lifeless eyes and they look very strong in their design because of the dark face.

Ruby is kind of an albino zombie space bunny...hmmm....that sounds like it would be a cool movie.....

Coco would fit perfectly, although she creeps me out so much...those eyes stare into my soul and i can picture her eating butterflies...
