Villagers of a Zoo town

I am planning to have my side town be of animals you usually see in a zoo. The species I am getting are:

Lion, Hippo, Octopus, Flamingo, Wolf, Monkey, Panda, Koala, Zebra, Alligator

Panda - Chester
Lion - Lionel
Flamingo - Flora
Zebra - Savannah


I want to cover ALL personalities.

Which should I get from each species?

Lion - Lionel - Smug

Flamingo - Flora - Peppy

Zebra - Savannah - Normal

Hippo - Biff - Jock

Octopus - Octavian - Cranky

Wolf - Whitney - Snooty

Monkey - Shari - Uchi

Koala - Ozzie - Lazy

Alligator - Sly - Jock

I tried to pick ones that look most natural - e.g. I choose the white wolf Whitney over the pink Freya.
Let me know your final decision.

I think this is a really good set, except I would personally choose an elephant over a wolf. I associate elephants more with the zoo than perhaps any other type of animal villager. So maybe Opal or Eloise if you still want a Snooty character.

Well. This is akwerd. Ozzie is camping in Mercury and I think I am going to take him. Any suggestions as to what to have as a species to swap out with the Koala of the Zoo town is?

hhmm IMO, Deer would be more fitting in a Zoo that Octopus, don't you think?

I agree with MishMeesh, elephant should definitely be there instead of a wolf. Wolves are more forest related than zoo. Maybe a penguin to replace the octopus since octopuses are more for aquariums than zoo too, or maybe an eagle? But everyone else seems like they fit. To replace then hopper/Apollo as a cranky and Eloise for snooty?

I guess I will swap out Octopus, Wolf, and Koala with Kangaroo, Elephant, and Penguin. So how does this sound as one?
