Villagers Get Mad If You Talk To Them Constantly In A Row

I talked to Olaf constantly in a row and then a black fuzzy cloud appeared over his head. The cloud then disappeared after a while. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you guys know if this lowers our friendship?

It's happened to me and probably to a lot of folks. I don't think it'll lower your friendship. More than getting mad, I think they get overwhelmed and excuse themselves out of another conversation. This happens less the more you befriend them.

Yeah I found that I can only talk to my villagers MAYBE three times a day if there are hours in between convos lmao they're super sensitive apparently

I've only had this happen with Rooney and after I bothered him about 12 times in a row just to see what happened

It happened to me this morning when I spoke to Boyd. I'm not really sure why that happened.
