Villagers for a magical/mystical town?

Im starting yet another town, and im trying to come up with some ideas on what villagers to get. Ill definitely get Julian, because hes a unicorn, and im also considering skye and diana. Any others that fit into the theme would be much appreciated! thanks x

[sub]bianca, whitney/fang, and/or phoebe work well for a mystical town. bianca is a white tiger (pretty dang cool, could work for a mystical theme), whitney is a white wolf and fang is pretty close to one so they make good candidates (as white wolves are a topic or a symbol in some mystical stories), and phoebe is based on a phoenix, which would be fantastic for a magical/mystic theme.

i'm actually working on a fairy forest sort of town, so those are actually some of the villagers i chose. have fun with your town! remember, pick villagers you really like as well![/sub]

Diana is likely based on the goddess Diana/Artemis, so why not? Popular choices would be Phoebe and Julian, which is a phoenix and a unicorn respectively. If you're into Eastern fantasy, pick Drago (sure, there are also dragons in the west but Drago looks more like an Eastern dragon) and Rolf (white tiger/byakko). Coco, Clay, Ankha, Klaus, Genji, and Elvis are also nice options.

I would suggest these ones Julian, Merengue, Diana, Skye, Chrissy, Tia and maybe one of the octopuses.

Muffy, Phoebe Pietro, & Skye (all of these are pretty obvious)
Amelia the snooty eagle (her house furniture & music (K.K. Condor) have a very tribal/Peruvian forest magical feel to them)
maybe Ankha if you want the Egyptian symbols..(some people find Egyptian deities magical)
Lionel for your white-haired wise man.
Clay because he looks like a totem or tribal sculpture/artifact come to life
Drago the dragon
Ruby! the white rabbit reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, space, magic hats...all things magic & wonderful--a must!
Phil I had him move in by an accidental spotpass, and he is REALLY COOL & he looks great in person, red & blue feathers & has candles & a nice house with groovy walls & minimalist furniture with pretty things on top.
Vesta her house with the spinning wheel & sewing machine remind me of sleeping beauty, and somehow magic. Also her fluffy wool=clouds
Tia for some reason Teacups seem magical to me. They always appear in stories & fortune telling.

So far that's 8 female suggestions, and 5 male suggestions...hmmm you'd need a grumpy & sporty type...

Grumpy- Static--the lightening bolt could be all sorts of magic! David Bowie, Harry Potter, Zeus....
Roscoe- just look at him, he looks like a shadow knight. ("Shadow Knight" is a made up term by Munna. )
Sporty- Snake-his hood & cute face look like an imp! Cheeky little magic rabbit!
Sly- He looks like a true mysterious creature with a plant filled home & topaz eyes.

Kiki is a great Halloween black cat.

That's a good idea too. Magic always has black cats associated with it. (Kiki is also adorable.)

Well, I'd have to say Julian seeing as you can't get much more mystical/magical than a unicorn (can you!?)
Fang would also fit nicely with his colouring, he looks really mystical to me and is just so beautiful overall...Whitney for the same reasons.
Also think Lopez could work really well - I have him in my town and his colouring and whole look is just quite magical (I think).

I agree with Ankha. She's a super cool Egyptian cat, and cats were worshipped so I think that fits under 'mystical'.

Seeing nobody has mentioned them yet, I'm also going to recommend Hans and Tucker. A yeti and a mammoth could work for a magical town.
