I've noticed an increase in villagers coming up to me 5 minutes before they are supposed to visit my house, saying they have to cancel. What's up with that?

I waited 10mins for peanut to come to my house but she never turned up - eventually she pinged me and said she was sorry but something came up

I've had that happen and all I could think was 'Wow...even virtual friends have no time for me today'.

It's irritating enough when real people do that.

Well I like this feature since I've missed maybe - half of my appointments in game like that. It's just natural that the animals would do the same.

tucker did that to me asked to come over waited went to see him the he said he forgot he was to come over to see me home

I see, well good to know that it's not always my fault for forgetting an appointment. :)

It's funny, I once forgot I made an appointment, and when I next talked to Beau, he appologized for forgetting the same one xD

They usually do that to me when I open my gates/visit other towns.

Same for me. I always forget since I really enjoy talking to my villagers, even when guests are over. To be honest, them cancelling is fine by me. I much prefer instant visits than making appointments.

Heh. Guys, tip for you: If a villager sets an appointment to go to their house at X time, and you miss that time, don't talk to them until you find them in their house again. They'll comment on your lateness, but at least they won't get mad. :D

I'm fine with the appointments, but what's annoying as crud is when you're doing stuff in your house and they just barge in on you. Seriously, who does that?! (Oh that's right, I barge in on villagers' houses... oops...)

Um, I didn't even know they can do this. I want my appointment canceled!!! Just for some variety. I always thought they showed up.
