Goose the Chicken won't get out of my Paradise. I tried Ignoring him for a long time, but he still won't move. Any tips?

Once he moves, im gonna find Maple and throw a Baby shower (Thread soon.).

Ignore him completely, and talk to the other villagers. Sometimes they will announce if Goose is moving or not. If a village comes to say he/she is moving, say no and it takes them a while before they ask again.

Did you try the TT two days forward then two days back method? I found it works better than ignoring :)

Ignoring has only worked once for me. Kill the villager with kindness. Really work up the friendship level. Havent you noticed that the only villager that pings you are the ones you want to keep? Its as if they have accomplished everything and now need to move on. Talk to them a lot, that sometimes gets them going. I also ignore my favorites and that seems to help.

Okay, I'll try,

No. Do not do this. This method of TT bears a considerable risk of losing a different villager because your "safety net" villagers never told you someone was leaving. If you're going to TT someone out, jump two or three days, then go forward one day at a time, talking to all five outside villagers each day, and don't set the clock back until you get someone out. Or use the more complicated method of jumping multiple days at once using the system clock and checking for the missing house with a new character, then quitting and reversing your previous time jump to find the villager that was gone.

Minky, is Goose your most recent move-in? If he is, I'm afraid you'll have no option but to move someone else out first, then get him out.

Incorrect information, anyway, it doesn't matter if they just moved in or not they can move out just as easily as anyone else.

It took me forever to get Goose out of my town too :P

I think the best method of getting villagers out (and saving the ones you want) is: first, make sure no one wants to move. How you do this is: set the 3DS date 5 days ahead, and START UP A NEW FILE. Not your mayor. Once you can see the map, if someone moved, you'll know who to try and get to ping you. It's very important to make sure to set the day back to where you originally were, then load your mayor and get that villager to ping you if it's one you want to keep. If it isn't you can just skip 6 days to get them the heck out of your town!

If someone tries to move or has just moved out/in, it's safe to skip 3-4 days, and then save and quit. Then, skip ahead 5 days and check again with a new file character. If no one moved, you'll need to go back to the original date and skip another 3, then check again (someone should definitely have moved this time). This method is a LOT faster than any other TTing method (relentlessly trying to get ALL your villagers to ping is horrible), and generally safer too, since you can reliably catch your dreamies trying to move out and stop them, instead of missing their pings randomly.

I friggin hate Goose too with his creepy/psychopath face. None of the methods are right on. You need to create another character, introduce yourself to everyone, then, TT forward. Everyday you TT, talk to everyone you like, ignore the ones you want to boot out. Keep doing this but don't befriend the ones you want to keep too much. Oh, and don't play as your original character.

When I tried to get Julian out, I ignored him and he wouldn't budge. I then started paying attention, and he was the next to move :3

Leonardo recently moved in and i hated him >_< I spoke to him, but not a lot so like 2 times a day and he moved in about 5 days ago. And he just asked to move ^o^ You could try this on an alt?

Edit: Oh ok, looks like your problem's solved ^_^
