I have been trying to move out Big Top (one of my earlier villagers) by TTing, and it has been 3 months and he still hasn’t pinged. Anyone had similar experiences with older villagers not wanting to move out?
I’ve been using the housing-moving technique to reset the bubbles, Big Top still never pings.I spent about 4 hours trying to move Renee or Sparro out yesterday before I succeeded, I would say that you have a slightly higher rate of success if you use a technique, if you see a villager that wants to move out you can keep TT back a day and forwards a day until the bubble is on the right villager
Thanks for the tip, I will try that. It is so infuriating when the pings are Raymond, Audie, Coco ...repeatingI had kind of a similar thing happen where only the villagers I wanted to keep would ping me with the technique, what i did was break out of the cycle and get into another one, unfortunately it's all a waiting game when you're trying to move out a specific villager![]()
Hmm this is something I'll have to try! I wasn't aware they actually still got that angry when you over-interacted with them. All their "leave me alone" dialogue early on really made me want to not upset them lol.a lot has to do with your interactions to them. The more you talk to a villager, the more likely it is to want to move, because becoming best friends with them means they feel they've seen everything and want to move on. So you're actually better off only interacting once a day or so with the ones you like, and over-interacting with the ones you don't. It's not 100% proven, but some people have found if you over interact until they get the cross/frustrated black cloud over their heads, the next day or so they're likely to ask to move. Might take a couple of tries, but see how you go?
