I have some questions about the villager reset trick (the one where if you're down to 8 villagers, the next move-in will be of a personality you don't already have, or if you have one of each, it'll be random).
The guide I read stated that the villager of the personality I'm trying to get can't have moved out recently. Does this mean being the last one to move out? If I move out that villager and then move out another one (so that I'm down to 8), it'll only count the last move out, right?
I'm also wondering what happens if you have two missing personalities in your town. Does the personality of the move-in change with each reset or do you get locked into one of the two at random? I'm already missing one personality and if I move out the villager of the personality I want to change, I'll be missing two. How does the game choose one?
Thanks for replying.
