Villager reset trick questions

Since Keaton has moved, I'm doing the villager reset trick again for my dreamies.


How long it will took for a 9th villager to move into town? I TT'd the AC time to Wednesday(the day his house has gone), then moved the DS time a day forward, but I've yet to see any plots if I create a new save. Maybe I should TT another day to get better chances? Or can a villager move in just after his house was removed?

Usually it'll be quiet for 1 or 2 days after someone moved out, but there doesn't have to be a plot of land right away. The best way to control it is by inviting campers.

I've been resetting a few times with 8 villagers. Some times there was a new house being build (but in the wrong spot so I reset) and the next time no new house was being build. After doing this for 3 mornings I gave up and reset until I got a camper and invited him, just to be sure I was in control over where the house would be build.

Unfortunately, it can take a while for the ninth villager to move in. I once did the reset trick in Lilycove, and it took me three resets of finding nothing before getting Wolfgang's plot randomly. I also have a cycling town, and I TT day by day for new villagers, and it really is random when the ninth moves in, though, it doesn't take any longer than five days. I wish you luck! Resetting can be a pain. >.<
