Villager pictures

Does anyone know if there a new way for a villager to give you there picture I made some cooked good wrapped it up and give it to them I got a gift in return

Not sure about what effect cooked meals have, but I do know villagers with high friendship may give their photo now when visiting your house. I’ve already had two villagers do this.
