Villager moving on top of items?

I've heard that events in the plaza on top of items just move the items to the lost and found. Does the same apply to villagers moving on top of items? Lucky moved on top of my mushrooms and I don't want to lose them.

not sure if it would apply for things like mushrooms, but I accidentally built a house on top of some perfect oranges when I was plot resetting, and they turned up in my lost and found after! so they might...? again not 100% sure though, because if they're like flowers they'll just be destroyed;;;

I'm pretty sure it still goes to the lost and found.

Axel moved on top of my fairy circle (a ring of mushrooms basically) and I found some mushrooms in the lost and found soon after, so I believe you'd be okay.

The only things I think that don't show up if something pops up on top of them are flowers and clovers

A fairy circle is exactly what I had! I supposed I could always buy more mushrooms, and it's a good spot for a house.

Yes, they go to the lost and found. I found my gold fish trophy there once and didn't even know it was lost :O
