Villager moved into the wrong house?

Skye was in my campsite and I adore her so I wanted her to move in. She suggested Static should move and I thought it that was fine. She however moved into his house and she did not bring her own. She basically owns the house of the previous villager but won't enter it.
I want to fix it but I don't want her to move out, anyone who knows what tod do?

This is unfortunately a documented glitch involving campers moving in. If you don't play day by day during the moving process, the camper's house's exterior is that of the previous house. It's usually caused by time traveling backwards or time traveling forwards and skipping the day where the plot is sold. I've also seen someone report the glitch when they didn't TT, but they didn't load the save during the day where the plot is sold, and that was enough to cause it.

Nothing bad has been reported that has come from the glitch, it's just cosmetic. But unfortunately, there's no way of fixing it either. The only "fix" is having Skye move out and then back in.
