Villager Ideas/Themes

Ok so.... Im back at an impasse for who to have in my island.

Currently i have like 3 sheep and 2 octopi. i have no idea where im going i want like a theme but im not sure if i should go based on looks or species. (i like multiple personalities so thats fine)

im for sure keeping the octopi... but should i do like a mostly Newbies island, or maybe a theme (eg scary looking villagers, cute, etc)

hmm, if you want, it would be interesting to see an underwater themed island with an all octopi villager island xD
maybe even like a spongebob squarepants type feel to it LOL
lol its random but i think it would b super cute!

If you're not fixed on an aesthetic I've seen some really cool islands that seamlessly go from one aesthetic to another. This video gave me a lot of inspiration

the only issue is NH only has 3 octopi villagers... so i'd need some other alternatives

if you're going for an underwater theme I suggest penguins!
