Villager friendships?

Something I noticed recently is that more villagers in my town are connecting with each other and making friends with each other. I've noticed Rosie especially communicating with other villagers, and she seems to connect well with Stitches and Merengue. Stitches seems to admire her a lot and compliments her singing, and Merengue treats her like a little sister. Kid Cat and Leonardo also were close, sadly I had to let Leonardo go. Are there any really strong villager friendships on your island, or friendships that are just so adorable?

I think this is a super cute aspect of the game. I know in new leaf the villagers would talk to each other or visit each other’s houses but it definitely seems a lot more prevalent in New horizons. On my island Cherry and Bam seem to have a sort of friendship, Bam seems to look up to Cherry a lot and she kinda seems to look at him like a little brother. Also Bam and Hugh hang out at each other’s houses, and the other day I saw Bruce, Bam, and Hugh all working out together in the plaza! Bam seems to be pretty popular with my villagers lol

Yes omg!!! On my island, Sly and Flora both have the "play" hobby and often play airplanes together which is sooo cute. I don't see them actually "talk" with each other very much though, but I assume they are close. I also see Sly and Snake working out together a lot (my two jocks), and one time saw little Sylvana (the normal squirrel) with a big barbell in hand right next to them in the plaza! Snake and Sly were doing some fast reps and Sylvana was...going at her own pace lol. I don't blame her, that barbell probably weighed as much as her!!

Anyways, I've also noticed that Huck and Sly hang out a lot, maybe because they live right next to each other. They are always over each other's houses and often follow each other around the island. Diva and Tom talk a lot and I assume they are good friends, though I don't see them together very much. Chester has recently become friends with Huck and they like to play airplanes together. Ankha sometimes visits Judy's house and I've seen them talk to each other several times too. Ankha and Tom mainly can be found were the "action" is and both don't seem connected to anyone in particular. I would say Sylvana and Judy are kind of "lone wolfs" because I often see them by themselves around my island.

Sorry this post was longer than I intended it to be, but analyzing my villagers social life is weirdly fun lmao

fauna and genji had a conversation in which fauna called genji “maestro” which i thought was really cool. fauna has been one of the most sociable villager, but i’ve found that new villagers tend be more sociable, and then kinda retreat into an introverted life. a lot of villagers have friends over tho, even ones that have been here since the beginning!

Oh my god isn't it THE BEST? Hamlet and Agent S have THE BEST conversations!! It's so freaking funny!! I literally screencapped this earlier today because I was just giggling over it FOREVER. The 2 of them bicker kind of a lot but straight up I can't get mad at them because they are SO. FUNNY.

This really is a cute aspect of the game. I always love watching them communicate, especially seeing different personalities get along with each other. Some conflicting personalities have the cutest interactions. Just after I made this thread Rosie went to visit Butch and they were getting along. She began to sing and he was standing by her smiling, it was so cute.

Moe and Tom keep having me deliver gifts to each other. It started with Tom last week and now Moe this week.
Tangy and Katt have been hanging out quiet a bit since I got Katt on a mystery island. It's cute to see them bond and hang out so much.
Kabuki and Olivia hang out a lot too. The two of them were running around with Coach earlier and they were all holding a weed. It was adorable.
I like to see that my villagers seem to be forming friendships and bonds with each other. It's sweet!

Dobie and Freya seem to hang out a lot on my island. The other day I overheard a conversation where Freya thought Dobie had given her flowers to convey he wanted to be "more than friends" (in flower language) and Dobie got all flustered and was like "I don't know what those flowers told you, but it didn't come from me" but Freya didn't believe him, and it was super cute
