i have pate as a starter villager and she has my birthday.. today i just realized deena looks exactly like her almost just a different color and different eyes.. they have the same hair and cheeks... looking at the ducks now

Got me to thinking wonder who else out of the other species have doppelgangers?

I always get Alfonzo and Sly (two yellow-ish alligators) confused. I ran into one of them on a villager hunt the other day and it took like 5 minutes to figure out which one he was. I also think Canberra and Melba (koalas) look similar at times.

What takes the cake for me...and nobody can convince me otherwise..is the fact that like every lion has the same or similar eyes, same glasses shape, and general red/yellow/brown combo coloring with the exception of Leopold and Lionel's hair. They all look so similar I can't keep them straight!

I agree.. why do all the lions have the same exact shape mane!?!?!
 
I read a couple years ago this theory about Lucky and Walker, where Lucky is the dead version of Walker. So maybe those two are doppelgangers? They got the same personality, wears the same shirt where the colors are different. And the number that differs the shirt they wear (Walker number 67 & Lucky number 23) is 44. Not that it matters and could be wrong, but the number 4 usually symbolizes death. I can't really remember more from what I read back then, but it's fun to think about.

Nan and Chevre are pretty good examples of being recolored versions of one another down to their houses. They even have a picture of the other on their respective walls.

Oh! Also Chrissy and Francine. The pink and blue rabbit twins. If memory serves I think they're sisters.

Thats cool didnt know that about them!! Ying and yang.. and love how they are sisters...
Kinda odd how some of the goats just dont have noses lol
 
To me the wolves look more the same than the lions, though I’d never go so far as to say they look identical. I mean...if you start going at thing like mane shape, most of the animals will start looking similar. But Rex, a cute baby freckle face, and Rory, an awesome Shishi lion, look very different, within the lion template.
 
tom and rover look identical except tom is more blue and rovers more purplely

also moe and tom look similar too from the back especially in the dark i used to have them both and would constantly get confused everytime i saw a blue cat from a distance

I agree with you, I find the lions very similar. They also gives me such a bro-vibe, so I just look at them all as brothers ahahah
 
Dora and Samson, even tho they have some features which makes them not identical, like the mouth.
 
Kitt and Carrie I can never tell apart. Or maybe because I don't pay too much attention to the kangaroo villagers in general 😅
 
Deena and Cally always looked very similar to me... Seeing them side by side, they have slightly different colors, but share similar design features such as big pink cheeks and upward facing eyes.

Also Sandy and Sally. I mean, the orange color, and purple eyelids, and their names are verry close.

Sherb and Kidd are both blue goats, with Kidd being more purple toned. Their hair is just flipped. Maybe they are related?

Forgot a pair: Matilda and Roscoe! Both are black and have the same huge red down turned eyes.
