Vilagers moving in at different times

I've been researching plot resetting and It seems that different vilagers move in in the AMs and the PMs. I was resetting crankies and went through half in the Am and half of the PMs

Thoughts?

hmm... i've heard that only any villager personality you don't have will be available in plot resets so maybe the game randomly switches the personalities you don't have through the AMs and PMs?

I'm confused, because I thought it would always be the same villager each time. Does it only do different villagers when it's a new town and you don't have nine or ten villagers yet? I've never plot resetted before, so I don't know.

When you have eight villagers the game will add in a random ninth. And you can mae a new character to reset wich vilager will move in

basically with plot resetting you can reset by making a new character to determine which villager will move in/which villager you'll have in your campsite/where the villager moves in. so you actually can control what villager moves in to an extent

True, but there are alot of vilagers in a personality so for example: I got fang, wolfgang, and gruff in the AMs, then I got static, curt, and tom in the pms but not the ams.

hmm... maybe the game determines what villager you get by the characters in your name, or maybe some kind of variant determines what villager you'll get at what time? i've had similar things happen to me with plot resetting as well, but i'm not really sure

Yeah, you might be right.. Once I reset my town I can chart which vilagers I get.
