Videogames happens to not be a word. I prefer to say videogames over video games.

You can say Video Games like Videogames there's such a small difference it doesn't even matter (unless you're the person who breathes really hard after every word {like Bastoise if you've ever heard him talk} then there will be a difference). I voted for Videogames because I say it like it is one word.

I consider it one word like videotape, that is a word, the red thing doesn't appear for it, and the fact that they separate what could be a single noun into a noun and an adjective annoys me

I use it with 2 words, I don't really have a reason, I just think it looks better
