Video Tags in Signatures

Is there any way we can get video tags to work in signatures again? The old flash tag used to do work in signatures, but the new video tag doesn't work. If you try and put a video tag in your signature, it'll just appear as a link.

videos in general are a lot less appealing due to not being as open-ended as they used to be. is there some kinda support that fixes/changes this? i'd like to have fix-able dimensions on the video if possible. if not, oh well.
