Pokémon Very First Shiny Pokemon Stories!

Not sure if there already is a thread for this somewhere, but anyways...

I'm sure most of you on here have personally found at least one shiny with your own Trainer ID and OT Number, so here's the place to post your shiny story! I'm sure several of you guys have many Shinies so that why I'm asking you to please just keep it to your first shiny please (it can originally be from any game). ^.^

Now, my very first shiny actually has an interesting story. I was around 10 years old at the time and it was my first ever video game, not just my first Pokemon game, but video game. It was Pokemon Emerald. I remember being quite far in the game and not really knowing what I was doing as I knew nothing about Pokemon games at the time. Anyways, I was walking through a cave (can't remember which now) without repels. Out of nowhere I ran into a Zubat, but it was green and did the little sparkle thing. I was totally clueless why in the world the Zubat was green! Thankfully being smart I caught him and named him Unique as that's how I saw him. I spent a lot of time researching why my Zubat was green. I even remember Googling "Green Zubat". Anyways eventually I figured out that he was shiny and what a shiny was. When it came time to restart my Emerald game, I made sure to migrate him to my newer games, which by this time he had long evolved into a pink Crobat. Here he is today back in Hoenn again!

Also, to those who complain about going into a cave without repel it can actually pay off sometimes!

It was in White. I found a shiny Tympole and I did know about shiny Pok?mon. I caught it but didn't want it, so I gave it to a friend who gave me a shiny Mudkip in return. I still haven't evolved it, but I might now because a Mega Swampert would go really well with my team.

I was doing a nuzlocke of Firered, and while I was grinding, and I encountered a shiny Weedle. It is currently in my ORAS as a mega beedrill.

I found my first shiny during my playthrough of Alpha Sapphire, actually. I've been playing Pokemon for 8 years (I think) and it was the first time I ever found a shiny. It was a Lunatone. I tried to catch it but I was completely unprepared and I ran out of pokeballs. I was super upset for a long time about it. Still am, actually. I've been wonder trading a lot recently in hope of randomly getting a shiny, though. So far, no luck.

In modern games it was in Pokemon X while I was shiny hunting for a Beldum. I gave up and had 1 last egg to hatch, so I just hatched it. My face was away from the screen because of some distraction and I had to look twice to make sure the shiny in front of me was real

My first shiny was Sneasel in Diamond. I caught it on the route south of Snowpoint City sometime in early 2010. It was quite a shock!

Mine was a shiny Marill in Diamond! I met it in the Safari Zone, if you can believe that. I was freaking out because I thought it was gonna run so I'm like throwing bait like crazy. But it just went in the ball and that was the end of it. Victory dancing ensued soon thereafter.

Then later I encountered a shiny Golbat in a cave found late in the game (can't remember at this point). Green shinies like me apparently.

Mine was the red Gyarados, haha. But my first "real" shiny Pokemon was a shiny Feebas in ORAS. Yeah, I guess luck wasn't on my side until now xD

I agree before the 6th gen it was very uncommon for someone to even find one shiny in game, which is why I cherish my shiny Crobat so much as he's the only shiny I have found outside of the newer games. Between Pokemon X and AS I have found over 10 Shinies now and half of those I wasn't even trying to get on purpose.

The 1st shiny I GOT was a Tentacool. I initially named her Blingus, but I said, nah, this is too boring, so I called her Esmeralda.

The 1st shiny I SAW was an Elect(r)abuzz. I found her in the Battle Pyramid, so...

Got my first shiny yesterday, after three days of hatching eggs with the Masuda method. It was a Petilil, now she's a Liligant ^^. I've played Blue, Yellow, S/R/E, D/P/P, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, Black and Black 2, White 2, Y and am currently playing Omega Ruby and I never saw a wild shiny, even with the Chroma Charm. So I'm reaaaaaaally happy the Masuda method exists!

All of my shiny encounters have ended horribly.

1st, and I didn't realize this until I saw the shiny picture of the Pokemon just now, I encountered an Elektrike. But I was mashing buttons to run away from it because I just wanted to walk through the damn grass. And it was bright blue, and I just thought it was a Pokemon that I hadn't seen before, so I kept trying to encounter it again and I never could BUT THEN I REALIZED... IT WAS A ****ING SHINY.

2nd, in Pokemon X I encountered a shiny Poliwhirl! Well, I use a move that I know will cut its HP down to half, but before my move goes it uses Belly Drum... and then I finish it off. And cry. For a long time.

3rd, a Mawile in X's Friend Safari. Forgot my Pokemon was 30 levels above it in my excitement and demolished it.

I may never own a legit shiny. //cries forever

mine was gyarados. but the first one i found without it being in the storyline ( i guess? ) in soul silver when i was grinding levels with my new lapras. i wasn't really paying attention, but when i heard the little sparkle, i was really excited. it was a graveler, which was pretty cool, but it self-destructed before i could catch it. ): i found more shinies after that in Y, though.

Am I the only one that doesn't remember their first shiny? I find shinies in all my games. Like 5 minimum. Either I play WAYYYY to much or I'm extremely lucky.

Yeah that's for sure as I've played all my games lots (I have one of each version of game since and including gen 3), and have only found one shiny outside of ORAS and XY. I have found several in both of my 6th gen games though.
