I was just wondering if when you use an amiibo card to kick out a villager from your town if the villager moving out will still go through the process of boxing up all their stuff before leaving or if they're just gone a day to the next.

Basically, I want to know if I can give my friend the chance to come pick up the villager I'm forcing to move out from my town or if I'll have to try to give her the villager via my void.

Yes, they'll go into boxes as soon as you scan the amiibo, so the very same day. It's actually quite nice, since you can wait until you both have time, and then move them out and invite your friend over right away.

Great! Makes it much easier for me to get rid of villagers I don't like now!

Does a special amiibo apply to this?
(Toon Link,Zelda, etc.)

Im sad cause where ever the villager you kick out is, is where the new one moves in and it was frustrating cause i wanted all of my villagers lined up ._.

If you plot reset, they can actually move! I kicked out Pietro last night to move in Shari, and I didn't even need to plot reset multiple times! She was in her desired spot the first time I loaded up a new character :) Just make sure to block off all other places with patterns so that there are only 2 possible spots to move to - your desired spot, and the old villager's spot. Make sure to surround the house of the villager you are kicking out with patterns so the house can't move one square over either, to increase your chances of it moving to the desired spot. Hopefully that makes sense ^_^ But point is, if you're patient enough to plot reset, they will move!

So if I wanted to kick out Poppy to make room for Etoile, all I need to do is to make a new character and then delete and remake a new one and their plot will move?
