Using amiibo cards - does the 10 villager cycle apply?

I have bought 8 amiibo cards in villagers I wanted.
The other two I?m making sure I talk to on each day I play to stop them moving,
If one of the amiibo cars villagers disappear can I just ask them straight back into town?
Or would I need to use 10 different cards and then use the original one to get them back

The 16 villager cycle doesn't apply to amiibo cards so you can just get the villager back with tha cards, but I don't know the process on that.

There is no 16 villager cycle when you have the actual cards. Let's say for example you have Coco's card. You move her in and a month later she moved out while you weren't really paying attention, there very next day after she leaves you can invite her back via amiibo. Hope that helped answer your question.

I invited Ganon back after he left due to carelessness while TTing. He was gone for a day, tops. Whether or not he would have shown up on Main Street after moving in 8 other villagers, I don't know

I LOVE that too! I recently moved Pinky and Pekoe back into Big Bear and they did the whole ' this place seems so familiar' line. I very much like that the makers added that feature of recognition when you bring a villager back into a town they lived prior.
