Buying URGENT! MODERN Gracie Fashion Check - need bottoms OR dress + shoes

I have the modern theme this time. Here are the items I have or will have (I ordered this shirt, but I think I actually already have it)...

dark polka tee
oval shades

I believe I can use the oval shades instead of a hat (for accessory).

I don't have bottoms or shoes.

I need ONE of the following:

dark polka skirt
blue retro dress
cool dress

and ONE of these:

clogs
stripe shoes

Thanks for any help! If you want to sell me any of the items, because you don't want/need them yourself, I'm happy to buy. I will also gladly tip for your help.

Looking to get help asap, as I didn't think I'd be out so long today and now it's 8 pm.

Both the cool dress and the striped shoes are in my Gracie's right now. If you'd like to come buy them within the next half hour or so, you can. Since they're Gracie items, they are overpriced, so bring plenty of bells if you decide to come grab them.

hey i just did this one today, all had was the blue retro dress and passed. If you want that you could come by my town and pick it up

Are you sure it'll work? I have tried doing checks with no shoes before, and Gracie has told me I need shoes and accessory. I have the accessory, but no shoes... and non-themed shoes are supposed to count against you, I think.

It might make more sense for you to drop by my town, to do it all in one go? I can just borrow it while you're over and give it back before you leave.

I had on a black pumps, blue retro dress, and a crown and I passed. I'll bring the whole outfit if you like and you can borrow.

And I could come by but i have a guest right now. If you open your gate I can drop in when they leave. (which will be in a minute or two)

Okay, cool. I am wearing mary janes, so that should be fine for shoes if I'm able to pass without modern shoes. I won't need to wear the crown, I wouldn't think, since it's not in the modern list? I'll just try wearing my oval shades, the dress you have and the shoes I have. Just give me a few to log out of the game and add you and then I'll open my gates. Thank you so much!

That guide has the do's and don't for the gracie checks, it's what I followed.

Gates are open. Yep, I was using that guide, that's why I worried about wearing non-themed stuff... I hope to pass with the shades, dress and mismatched shoes!

Thanks again! Passed and got a shirt instead of furniture, which was probably because I didn't end up with the right shoes, but that's good enough for me! I just cared about passing!
