I absolutely LOVE the spooky carpet/wallpaper/rug and Jack's portrait that they added with this update... But looking at the added items... They didn't add much furniture meant for indoors... No bed, dressers, sofa, vanity, or anything really besides a table and chair. I'll probably use the spooky tower indoors as well. I don't get this, since we had these items before (and would give anything for a spooky sofa/bench), but it is what it is.

So what furniture would you use in place of this missing stuff in a spooky room, that uses the wallpaper/flooring/rug? Antique is the best that I'm coming up with, but I wanted to see if there were other ideas people have.

You could try:

- Wooden-block series; mixed-wood
- Wooden series; black variation with orange cloth patterns
- Log series; orange wood

I've done a 'creepy' photoshoot with Hopper on Harv's island yesterday, so I could show him off dressed up as a vampire in another thread. I did indeed use mostly antique and black items to create a bit of a spooky feeling:

I think you could mix and match furniture sets, as long as you keep the colors mostly dark. I'd use furniture that looks big, solid and old-fashioned, like the antique or imperial set, then use smaller things like candles, books, posters, dark clocks etc. to give the room a more 'creepy' vibe.

gothic mirror and throwback skull player works great. Also wooden furniture in black.
