Unsure whether to keep my town?

I started a new town today, and I can be really picky about what villagers I start off with... After a while, I got one of my favorite villagers in the town. However, I really don't like the town layout (or the town fruit), and I'm just really frustrated because the way the town is laid out is annoying the crap out of me, but I really love the villager i got. I was resetting for hours so I think I should just cut my losses and be happy to get that villager... Augh, why do I have to be so picky?

well, villagers come and go. oftentimes, you can get lucky around here and someone will kindly give you a dreamie from their cycle town. or you can always trade/buy.
maps stay forever, as do certain PWPs. if you're very unhappy with your town, i would reset. you could always get that villager back. i hope this helps, and good luck! you deserve a town that you love.

Just keep resetting until you're satisfied with what you have town-wise.

You could always buy the fruit you want from someone :/ of course you won't get the perfect version, but at least it works.

You could try resetting and then getting the villager later. It depends on how popular they are, though. I would recommend researching what tier they belong to, that way you can get an idea of how much they would go for and how much money you would need to get that villager back.

If you're really unhappy with the town then I would say go for a new one and try to get the villager later on.

You could always have someone hold your favorite villager in a cycling town while you reset for your desired layout. Which villager are you talking about, OP?

The town is more important than the villagers in my opinion. As captain_katie said, villagers come and go, whereas your town's map will remain.

Thanks for the advice - I opted to reset the town, and I now have a town that I'm really happy with - and I don't mind the villagers I got either.

If I were you in this sit. I would reset till I got a layout that was perfect. Villagers come and go all the time.You could always trade or buy them for the new one.

Villagers come and go, but with your town layout you're stuck. It would drive me mad to have a bad town layout no matter if I would have Rosie and Marshal in there. I would reset.
