Unrelated to AC but help needed!!

Hi friends!
I’m hoping since we’re all using a switch console, someone might be able to offer some advice.

I was playing ACNH Christmas Eve, I saved and turned off my switch like normal and had it on its charger. Yesterday I tried to log on, and it wouldn’t turn on. I assumed one of my toddlers or puppy got a hold of the AC adapter, so after work today I bought a new charger and let it charge for several hours. Still a black screen. I’ve tried rebooting and I still can’t get it to turn on!! I’m not sure I’m doing it right but if anyone whose experienced this has any advice to offer, please pass it my way!!!

Oh no, that sucks. I don't know what to tell you, you may have to send it in to Nintendo for repairs.

I had something similar like this happened before. I was able to get the switch to turn on by pressing the volume up button and the power button till it turned on.

It about freaked me out thinking my switch was broken but sure enough that did the trick. I hope it works for you.

Alternative would be holding the power button for 15 seconds, letting go, then pushing the power again and releaseing immediately (like a normal power on). Unfortunately after that I got nothing. Hopefully one of those works. It worked on mine.

When it's completely out of power it'll take a while before it turns back on. It won't turn on immediately after connecting the adapter. Let it charge for a while.

That's atleast my experience.

Also worth checking if the electric outlet is functioning. If the switch didn't charge it can't turn on.

I’ve been charging it for 24 hours

Did you reach out to Nintendo support? Were they able to advise anything or warranty repair and backup?
