Hello! Uchi Canberra is in boxes and looking for a good home! Please let me know TODAY if you'd like to have her. I'll be around, so as soon as you ask for her we should be able to swap FC and I'll let you come over and invite her!
SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. Don't ask for her then go offline :)

What do you mean by "SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY."? What if I suddenly have to go offline for something important? I have crappy Wifi. What if my internet drops?

I'm okay with things like that. But if you go offline from the forums immediately after I've told you that she's yours, or you never reply after I tell you she's yours, then that makes you not very serious. I'm available right now, and so is she, so whomever wants her should maker every effort. Plus, all they have to do is mention the bad internet. I'm willing to work with someone who really, truly wants a villager.
I've had someone literally ask for a villager and then never come back. They didn't even apologize. It's very frustrating to hold onto a villager for more than a day and then no one come back after asking. I'm willing to hold onto a villager as long as someone is SERIOUS. Circumstances and things happen, I get that, so I'm willing to work with people.

I get ya. But I can be a little impatient. I can be the first one that says "Yes she's my dreamie! I'll take her for 1,000,000 btb!" Assuming you'd jump on that, I'd gladly make the trade. But what if you take to long to respond. You can be online and in another thread or something. People like me just change our minds and then think you aren't the serious one and just leaves. What's your opinion on that?

I never leave a thread when I'm trying to trade or do business. I'm playing AC:NL and refreshing the thread. I make sure I have time to dedicate to the thread and would update the post immediately if I have to leave. I refuse to not dedicate myself to any deal or promise I've made. My opinion is don't leave the window you're making deals and offers in. It's pretty scummy to leave a person hanging. It also looks bad and I keep track of people like that. I won't do business with them if they've already burned me in another thread.

That's really good. I like people like that. But you can't really tell from my perspective. Take for instance my first post here. It took you 6mins for you to reply to it. You can be on your game and have this thread in the BG, but you were still late.

I wouldn't consider that late. I'm still in the thread and expect the other person to be unless they've staked a claim for the villager and want to set up another time to trade or that they'll be on the forum at XYZ time to discuss the trade. Even a PM is is good with me as long as they're serious. They should always mention possible circumstances (maybe they have bad internet, or they know a storm will be arriving soon and the power could go out, etc.) I'm willing to work with another person, but it's off-putting for others to make offers when they look in the thread and someone has already asked. I wouldn't bother asking for a villager when another user has already asked in the thread. I just move on.
Also, do you even want Canberra? Because I really don't want to post count to scare a serious user off who really wants her but thinks someone else has made an effort to get her.

I completely understand. And no I don't want Canberra, I'm sorry for that inconvenience. My apologies though. I was just being curious.
