Uncharted 3? said:
Nolan North has apparently revealed he's to reprise his role as Nathan Drake this year, suggesting that Uncharted 3 will be in production this year.

North has fast become the voice of videogames, lending his talents to Halo 3: ODST, Assassin's Creed 2 and Shadow Complex in 2009 alone. 2010 looks set to be an equally busy year for North, with the actor telling GamePro that he's working on the sequel to Assassin's Creed 2

I've heard a lot about uncharted. Isn't it an FPS/Puzzle game?
More FPS, but yeah. But you don't have a PS3, do you? >:D
I have 360 and PC, and my little bro has a Wii, so I can basically get any game. I want a PS3 for uncharted, little big planet, and MAG, but I don't want to spend $300 to play 3 games. I'm torn. ;---;

*Cough* Bluray *Cough*

But Uncharted is just amazing. It's not too heavy on the shooting (It's 3rd person but you can go into 1st when shooting or just use the run and gun technique which is quicker but less accurate) and has a lot of adventuring. If you have to have online get the 2nd and skip the first but if you like 1 player games get the first as well (You won't regret it).

Anyway, I'm done forcing convincing you to get a PS3 ;)

I got the 360 before I knew anything about computers, so I effectively wasted $300. :C
It's not a complete waste though, it's good for when friends are over: you can play local multiplayer.

There's also God of War, MGS4, PSX Games, PSN Store Games, and others. And also bluray.

Its isnt any FPS its got over the houlder camera, with puzzles taking up a considerable portion of the game, along with climbing a la assassins creed and running/jumping.

So its a 3rd person action adventure puzzle game

Over the shoulder counts as FPS IMO ;)

First person shooter, when youre quite clearly not playing the game in the firt person??

And when you let go of the R1 Trigger it goes completely 3rd person, so it's not an FPS at all

I know that it's full 3rd person for the most part but I mean it's close to being 1st person when you hold R1.

Well, it's not.

An FPS is played entirely in the first person

FPS= First Person Shooter
When you're shooting, it's in the first person. Therefore, it's a FPS.

Its not in the first person.

First person is when you experience something through the body of someone else, Ill use a book as an example.

First person:
I went to the shops today and I bought some cat food.

Third person:
John went to the shops today and he bought some catfood.

Using that logic if you were playing a game in the first person it would be through the eyes of the character, which uncharted is not, its either behind the character or over his shoulder, except in a few guns such as sniper rifles which have an optional first person mode.

Alright let's just leave it now, Uncharted is 3rd Person.

You're ignoring my point. I'm not saying it's played in the first person, I'm saying you're shooting in the first person.
