Um.. i don't think this is normal.

excuse me if this is the wrong forum to post this in, just move it if it isn't correct ^-^; but anyways, i have no idea but my 3DS was just *****ing out. so I was on new leaf doing junk, and i was changing the time and stuff with Isabelle, and right after my town loaded and everything, my screen went black for about 7 seconds. i was just like, "um okay.." so then i continued on walking around, and every three seconds the screen went black for like 2 seconds. i walked around in AC, and then black. walk around, black. walk around, black. like the screen just kept constantly going black every three seconds..? i mean, i definitely don't think this is normal. has this happened to anyone else before? :/ i reaallly hope something isn't wrong with it.

That sounds weird, maybe your game has a glitch on it or something. Is it downloaded or a physical copy? It could also even be that it's your 3ds screen sensor (the part that closes and opens and puts your 3ds to sleep) could be malfunctioned

it's a physical copy. i really don't know if it's a glitch or not. this never happened to me before on any nintendo console of mine, so i wouldn't know.

You should probably see about getting it fixed if the issue continues to persist. My brother has had a similar problem but it fixed itself after a proper shutdown, so we haven't had to send it in (yet).

My first ever cell phone did something like that. I had to get it replaced with the same exact kind of phone but a few months later the same problem happened again. I would say it's your 3DS, not the game itself.

yeah i know it wasn't NL, it just started *****ing though once i started playing it. it's not doing it anymore, i guess that was just some kind of random ***** it had?

Possibly. But if it happens again in the future I wouldn't hesitate to send it off to Nintendo as it could be a sign of a more serious problem.

Try testing it out with another game and see if it affects other games?

That happened to me too. I just shut my 3Ds off and back on, and it works.

Things happen.I my game along time ago and found it near my bed and I was afraid it was sitting there collecting dust.Several times when i played it and saved,I would play a few minutes.And the save would take like 10 minutes...
Eventually it became normal again.
