My tree is actually fully grown as well. But it's not embarrassing! It's actually an accomplishment, considering how many people reset towns their towns and such.

I had a fully grown tree in my previous town. I was a little embarrassed. Just restarted though so I'm back to a single bunch of leaves and I feel a little relieved tbh.

I thought I had the full grown tree after 500 hours badge, but I've seen a humongous tree before so I'm pretty sure it can grow even bigger... maybe it's 1000 hours or something.. who knows xD but it was a huuuugee tree... I should have taken a screenshot @__@

anyhow, it's still an accomplishment, haha. congrats xD

So if I reset my town does that mean all my previous hours put into the game don't count? Cuz I'm at way over 500 but my new town isn't fully grown at all.

Yes, you have to have played 500 hours and 500 days in your new town for it to be at max size. Overall playtime spread throughout your towns doesn't contribute.

A gigantor tree is not an uh oh, it's an accomplishment depending on how you looks at it. I want a huge tree but at the moment, I can't even sit under mine and enjoy life in animal crossing.
