It's only a draft that Stephanie Meyer has written, but it's real.

I believe she gave it to an editor trusting them to edit what she had drafted and instead they leaked it on the internet. She got REALLY mad and said that she wasn't going to finish the book after that, but I think she will someday, hopefully!
