Turnips at 641 bells!

I just literally started a new town, and I figured I'd check how much turnips are going for. Turns out they're going for 641 bells!
Here is how this i gonna work:
Re-tail is right next to the train station, so you don't need to stray at all.
I may take breaks every now and again, but I will announce when I am taking one.
Tips would be appreciated, but aren't necessary.
I haven't got the info for my new town in my signature yet, so here it is:
Character: Lily
Town: Olympus

Have you tried a connection test? Same thing happened to me a few days ago but after a connection test on my ds it was fine! I'm in the town fine right now! xx
