Hi lovelies!

So I came across this nifty website in the "turnip price" discussion thread and wanted to share it with you all.
It's called >>> turnip.exchange <<< (that's the link).

Here is a description for it:

Created by Warp World, the Turnip Exchange allows users to easily and efficiently exchange turnips – or other items – on different islands across the world. It allows users to find islands where the daily turnip prices may be higher (for selling) or lower (for buying) and streamlines the visiting process for everyone.

Here's a snippet of the "hosting tips":
Be sure to make your description as detailed as possible about your rules. Put the time with time zone in the description when you think you'll be wrapping up as well. Also while we don't forbid you from asking for tips, we do think asking for more than 100k per-trip is a bit much. Not everyone is coming in loaded and might just be trying to sell a few bundles.

Make sure you put your exit method of choice, we recommend everyone leaving by airport one at a time or the host controlling it. As the leaving silent method has a high success for failure.

We find that having 1 person on at a time is the best way to keep people from having connection issues when it is their turn. Otherwise the max we recommend is 4 people at a time, it can keep a nice flow going and if you do group kicks, than 5 seems like the magic number.

In my personal experience, that site is hit or miss, with miss being the more common outcome when you're hosting. I've been raided far too many times hosting there. It's no surprise though, as the people who use that site are not just users from this community, but reddit, gamefaqs, anywhere really. There's no way to judge who you're getting to come visit, so there's an inherent risk with hosting there.

It is very convenient though, but I'd say use it if you don't mind having your town ransacked, or build a fence around your orchards/flowers.

Edit: Preemptively adding this incase my post comes off as hostile or bitter to some; it's not intended to be that way. I'm just saying, it's a very convenient site, well made, beautiful UI, but do keep in mind there's a greater risk to using that, than opening gates to people of this community-- people who you can actually see if they have positive feedback.

I say the safer bet would just to be to go to other towns to buy and sell, that could still be very helpful! I think I'm gonna try this but thank you for the warning

There's an option to have your queue private/only accessable via link. I've had pretty good success with using it alongside this forum and just posting the link to reduce clutter, though I guess that makes it a bit moot.

Using it that way is the best way to use it imo. Helps keep you organized for sure.

i think what they mean is that someone in the queue can get the code, and then share it with other people to be able to get into the town without going through the queue

i think a good tip to keep in mind when using this site is that as soon as you notice anyone that isnt on the queue (if you can even see it, idk) or if you see more players than the amount youre open to, to immediately close the session either manually or closing the game to prevent any damages being saved
