TTing backwards?

I read somewhere that no matter how many days you travel back in time, it will only count as one day...? Is that true? Because I've been TTing all the way till february next year (trying to get this idiot villager out) and now I wanna go back to the present time.. Will it count as TTing one day or a few months? I'm scared my dreamies have left or something if I do it

It counts as only one day. No weeds will grow. It is just one day,

Just to be on the safe side some people wait to deny a villager moving out. Since it is just one day other people risk it.

Try it and you'll be back to any one date you want! TTing to the future is more risky than moving to just one day in the past.
