TT question

I can’t seem to find an answer to this, possibily because no one knows yet, but does time traveling backwards count as one day forward like it does in New Leaf? I’m currently in May and have gone 1 day at a time, so my island is none the wiser, but I would like to go back on April 1st for the Bunny Day event. I’m also wondering if villiagers will move out without asking if you take a large jump forward or if travelling on day day where a villiager asks to move and you don’t permit them to prevents all villiagers from moving (like in New Leaf). Thanks for the help (also, please don’t tell me to play the game “right”, I heard it already).

Not that I've noticed. I was curious about that myself, but everything seemed the same when I would sync up again.

No it doesn't, aside from changing the date. There's no introduction message and the clothing changes, but Nook's Cranny will have the same furniture that it had when you were on that day. Jumping back had no effect on your villagers either.

Exactly what the other two members said, but I highly recommend to keep your nook miles streak going, CHECK THE ABD thing if you're going back a day too, to stay safe. I have noticed sometimes it would let me get them as if it was a new day..

Your villagers won't be surprised to see you, you won't even get a morning announcement. (I dont time travel that far though, maybe a week)

Ah, okay, thank you for the clarification. I really appreciate at! I honestly don’t mind if i do lose my miles streak. I have around 35k miles and a stack of tickets in my storage. I was just mostly concerned about villagers moving out.

And yeah, I’m ahead quite a bit because I’ve been playing a lot and skipping forward a day when I feel done with whatever day but I was afraid to go back until now haha! I need to go catch the stringfish and stergeon anyway
