trying to make a little plaza; failing miserably

hey lol, i've been trying to make a small plaza area in my town where i can put a fountain and some flowers

does anyone have any tips or inspo?

hey! Well, that was not exactly what I was looking for...i wanted to have my island ressemble a typical village in my country of origin, so i am having a little marketplace area, but it's not near my little plaza and unrelated!
i meant the actual paving itself, since i made a little cross shape and it looks incredibly dull!
