Trying to get a camper to kick a specific villager

Feels like pulling teeth!
Kiki is in my campsite and I LOVE her, but I need her to kick Gayle or I'll end up with three normals. I'm going to be doing this for awhile.
Do you guys put in the work to get a camper to kick a specific villager? Who have you done it with?

I literally just did this with Ankha yesterday, it took me 2-3hrs for her to finally kick the villager that I wanted her to kick.. doesnt help when she sadistically keeps asking me to play games with her and most of the time just flat out says “no! Muh laundry”

I've done it several times with several campers. The most annoying one I had was with Amelia. I've been trying to kick Mac but she kept on picking everyone else. After over 20 attempts and still no luck, I closed the game. After several hours, I opened the game and tried it again. She picked Mac on first try.

Its like the game reads our mind and knows who we want to kick so it trolls us.

You're dealing with RNG, so depending on your luck it may take you up to an hour or more, or it could take you 15 minutes or less. Either way, it is a lot easier than island hopping. So if you want the villager, take this opportunity and run with it.

Tybalt is the BEST I just got him like two days ago, and she asked to kick him TWICE.
Like absolutely not he is never leaving.
I love your villager line up btw. The colors are all so natural and appealing.

I did this the other day. It wasn't even a camper I really loved, I just wanted the chance to kick out Gloria. It seemed to choose the ones I have highest friendship with the most, but I guess it's just random. Took forever.

I have done this and it worked like a charm, doesn't take that long usually. Just quit without saving as soon as you see the unwanted name. Once you restart he will say another name. Do not let the dialog finish because it will autosave and then you're stuck

You come also hold onto the moving kits of one of the villagers you want to stay. They won't pick that villagers.

I wanted to invite stella over and there were 4 villagers I was willing to kick out for her but she just wouldn't pick any of them. It took forever.

Did you keep resetting the game? Thats what I've done last time, but I had someone tell me that we didn't need to and you could have done was say no and then keep talking to them to move in again.

I did it yesterday. I got insanely lucky and my final dreamie showed up by pure chance in my campsite. Since he was my final one that meant I only had one villager that I was willing to let go for him to move in. I got extremely lucky and it only took me about 5 resets for him to pick who I willing to let go. I have a friend who was doing a similar thing in the past and she said it took her about 2 hours to do so.
