I'll be traveling by plane to Florida on Wednesday for a month. Since I don't want to leave my Wii at home, I was wondering if you think it's easier to next-day mail it to my destination or to bring it on the plane.
I don't have room in my carry on for it, so it would have to be packed in my suitcase.
I'm afraid it'll be taken out b/c it is a computer and has to be scanned, and they won't put it back properly.
By mailing it I can get insurance on the package, but I'm still running a risk of it getting lost or damaged.

Please post your thoughts on how you would do it!
(leaving it at home is not an option!)

This is a really tough decision. I say take it in suit case inside it's original package that way it'll cause less camotion. Wait...
That'll make em thinks its a bomb

Get it mailed out, The airport people thought I was building a bomb with two cans of Lynx, God knows what they'll think about your wii <_<

exactly! Putting it in the original box is a good idea though. I don't want people to think it's a bomb!

LOL that's awful. I think I might have to mail it to avoid drama at the airport.

No, sorry my idea is at home =/ kinda risky I can live without a Wii (not much of course) but I dont wanna lose it.

You shouldn't bring the Wii with you to the airport, with mail you get insurance on it, but if something happens to it at the airport then you have nothing.
