Is there a way to see how many people have come to your town?

Once your town tree is big enough to sit on, the number of visitors will be shown at the very end of the town history credits.

Go to your town tree and sit on the red square bricks that surround it. It'll show credits, villagers who have moved in/out, and the amount of visitors.
