Trading a Giveaway Villager

Recently I received a very popular villager in a giveaway (Lolly). After spending some time with her I decided that maybe I would be happier with either Francine or Maple. I knew it wasn't polite to sell her, so I haven't. But I wasn't sure how people would feel if I were to trade her and make no bells off of her. I don't want to offend anyone but I really don't want to void someone as cute as Lolly in order to start a search for Francine or Maple.

Well, so long as you didn't get her for profit and made sure she went to a good home, I don't see the problem (plus Francine is lovely, I have her haha)

As long as you don't sell them, I can't imagine it would be an issue. Much better than just voiding her, or guilting yourself into keeping her. If you're really concerned, you could send the person a PM and ask if they mind.

I know! I speak a lot of French so I really love her and her Japanese name. I feel like if someone received a tier 1 villager in a giveaway and loses interest, trading it for something else should be fine. A lot of people would be sad to miss a chance to not get a dreamie if people were stuck voiding tier ones gotten from giveaways.
