Town Memorials and Shrines?

Does anyone else have a shrine or a memorial to a loved one or a pet that you lost, in your town?
I lost a friend in January and I still keep a little area of my town dedicated to her memory.

I'm putting a fountain where Margie used to live. I know it's not a real life friend or pet, but I loved her dearly and valued her very much.
She actually messed up my path when she moved in, but I built around her, and I'm gonna leave it that way to remember her

I want to make a house dedicated to my grandmother, make it look like her home to the best of my memory.
I want it to have some roses up front and make a nice garden since she used to love gardening.

I plan on having a little area dedicated to my father, with a stone tablet and a bunch of flowers and trees. Probably in the area where my lighthouse is now since it overlooks the ocean, and he loved fishing and the beach and stuff.

That's really sweet. I was thinking of making another one for my late Grandfather.

We've lost two students at my high school this semester, so I was planning on making a "graveyard" in a little corner of town. Even though this is bad to say, they probably won't be the last two students we lose before I graduate. So I'll leave some room to add on...

I've been wanting to make tiny memorials in my main town for my cousin and Nana, but I can't bring myself to do it for some reason. I was kind of worried it would come off silly, but maybe I'll give it try. It's comforting to see other people wanting to do the same. I'm very much sorry for all of your losses and send love all your way, regardless of how much time may have passed.

Fortunately, I haven't really lost anyone I was close to, but I do have a memorial room for my favorite villagers that have moved out. I have their pictures arranged in my basement, along with a lily record player with Steep Hill playing. I miss them greatly. :c

i have a tiny tiny tiny plot on my beach for my sister, we used to play animal crossing wild world together all the time when we were younger and i'd yell at her because i was always the one who had to pay off our loan haha
we didn't really get along at all but animal crossing was one of our only common interests, so that's all really

I have a little zen area dedicated to my dad's best friend. He was an awesome person and I have been great friends with his daughter for my whole life so I was really upset when he passed away and upset for his family. My condolences to all those that have lost someone precious to them

Town 1 Mayor is named after my dog
Town 2 Players were named after people that would have or were special to me.
My grandmother is one and has a house full of furniture she would have loved. Rose would have loved the regal furniture.
The 4 houses are in a row and have roses around each.

I don't have one but this is such a sweet idea. I might end up doing a little something but since I've started fresh recently, I still have a long way to go before I'm willing to place something permanent in my town since I'm still planning it. My condolences to all of you who have lost someone, even if it's been a while.
