Town Hall questions

Hey, so there is a chance that I will reset my town soon and I want to know:

~ Should the town hall be above the plaza or should the town hall be alone?
~ Which one do you like better?

I've seen so much towns where the town hall is directly above the town tree, I could put two statue fountains to either side or a flower arch. or The town hall is alone, not on top of anything and under it can be a garden with a flower clock.

It's a big dilemma, so I want to see what the community likes better (◜◡◝).

Personally, I like having my plaza under town hall. I feel like they should be close together.

In both my towns the town hall is directly above my plaza so that's what I voted for but I think having it not be above looks totally okay too I just prefer them close together and to have symmetry. XD

The only thing that really bothers me is a town hall right below the plaza, it looks awkward in my opinion.

I'd say look for other things you want in a town before you look at that factor if you don't really know which you prefer.

Neither poll options really apply to me. I really like that my town hall is at the center-top of a long stretch of land, and the plaza is at the bottom of that same stretch. Between them, I have my police station, reset centre, and a player home being used as a town rec centre. So, the town hall isn't directly north of the plaza, but they still relate to each other. I call the whole area my town's civic district.

Both of my towns have the town hall on one side of the map (at the top) and the other side has the plaza (also at the top). I prefer them to be far away, but I guess that they could look good nearby.

In my first town, town hall, ReTail, and the plaza are far apart from each other. In my new town that I just started this week, town hall, the plaza, and ReTail are all super close together. I think I prefer the latter, because it feels like my town has a lot more room for things.

I reset recently, and my current map is a bit...different. I may end up needing only two bridges, due to the way the land is segmented.

My event plaza is all by its lonesome near the top left, while my Re-Tail and Town Hall are towards the middle right of my map. They line up in such a way that Town Hall doesn't get in the way of Re-Tail's entrance, so I don't have to go around to comfortably get there. Unfortunately, a villager moved near what I was going to have as one of my major walkways. At least their house matches Re-Tails's colors, just inverted. Pink roof, teal exterior. Still going to have them move out, though.

All in all, while my Plaza isn't close to the other two things, it's so out of the way that it doesn't really matter. It's easily accessible from the train station, without blocking any project areas I'm interested in.

I have town hall next to the plaza, with plenty of room for the police station between/slightly behind them, which pleases me. let us all hope someone I love doesn't move in that spot before I can do something to prevent that from happening.

that said, behind it would be just as nice. town hall and the plaza are on the bottom half of the town, closer to the cliff. which is a bit strange to me, but it's the only thing I can complain about with my town's layout. so I'm thinking I probably won't bother putting anything in front of or near town hall, at least not anytime soon.

I like to surround my plaza with the cafe and gardens, town hall is closer to all of my PWP's.

I can't vote on this poll. I have two towns. One has the town hall above the plaza. I like it. My other town has the town hall in the top right corner and the plaza is to the left of the train station. I like it. The layout as a whole is what matters, IMO.

I like the town hall and the plaza spaced apart. In my new town, the town hall is on the top right of the map and the plaza is on the bottom left side of the map. It's fun

In my town the plaza is actually to the left of my town hall. I like the proximity. I like your idea of adding the flower arch between them, that would look very pretty! :>

I feel like it is better right above the plaza because you can do some really creative stuff with bushes and flowers surrounding the two!
Like one space around the two items have a cute flower pattern and the the 2nd space have bushes to surround it (and of course have a path leading into it!)

I quite like ones that are a bit separate. But this really is such a case of personal opinion. And for me I feel like it also depends on rock placements and pond placements around the whole area.
