With friends I think they can be really enjoyable
I hardly ever play them by myself anymore unless I'm trying to get medals but they're pretty fun then too~
I love the minigames! Especially with a friend (or even strangers, as long as they don't push my buttons or just join the game and they don't play.) I often stick to playing the bug catching ones, since I can collect flowers to breed and still get medals ;w;
i like them because of the medals, but it feels a bit tedious sometimes because i usually get around 6 medals each game, which isnt much considering im trying to buy a wetsuit for 40. i hate the fishing ones, but i like the balloon popping one a lot.
I used to find them fun to play but now they aren't as fun anymore. The thrill kinda wears off. As well, I usually only play them to grind for medals so they become more of a chore.
Most of the mini-games are fun, but having to play so many to get stuff from the island shop makes them get old really fast. It would be nice if wet-suits and furniture cost only 20 medals instead of 40 so that it wouldn't be so tedious.
Meh, it depends on the mini game. I really dislike the fossil and item matching ones, especially in multiplayer. Usually I go on butterfly discovery and gardening for violets, since they are exclusive to those tours for whatever reason... I used to spend lots of time bug hunting, but now since I have wifi and can do trades there's no need for that.
I like most of them, although the ones that require a certain amount of bugs, fish, or sea creatures, I tend to ignore. I also use the island for bugs, though.
Early on I was just interested in a few and pass on the rest because I sucked. But in change when people started inviting me on a tour. I said I would try and was surprised at how well I did. I now try to do all the tour. The Mayor and Player 2 have their gold. Also found out that doing tours gives you a nice tan.
They can be really fun sometimes, better if u play with a lot of people than just yourself, but there are some that aren't that great. Depends on the mini game
Yes, they can be fun sometimes. My favorite is the hide-and-seek mini-game. I love the animals' reaction when I chop down the tree where they're hiding in.
