Today at work...

My boss suprised me when I came in.
He said he had a lame standee he needed me to put up and handed me the box cutter to open it.
I opened up the box and started finding all these weird looking pieces and had no idea what was going on.
I kept shuffling through and found the New 3DS XL in the box with majoras mask!
He knows how excited I am for both, and handed them to me and let me try them out for about 30 minutes before putting the display up.

To anyone excited about MM it's awesome! Graphics are great. ^^
The XL just looked so cool. But after seeing the palettes on the displays I'm not sure what color I want now. Even though it's glossy and I prefer matte, it still looks super nice.

Anyone plan on getting MM on release date with the XL? What color are you getting? Thoughts on the c-stick? I personally thought it was cool. But was expecting it to be a stick not a touch pad.

I don't plan on getting either. MM is actually my least favorite Zelda game because of some bad times I had playing it when I was little. xD

I'm excited for MM because I've never really played Zelda. But read up on this one, and it's my co-workers favorite of the games. It looks great!

The only thing I don't care for is the fact that the power light is still at the bottom. When I'm laying in bed playing I can't see when it's dying!
But I figured since all the games will eventually be exclusive I may as well get it now.

Yeah. We have one small wall in our GameStop of 3ds. Probably around 100ish games on it. Give or take. The case is full of DS games. Our largest wall is 360. With around 700 games.

That's awesome! As an employee we are allowed to take anything home that's getting thrown away. So any displays and standees and such. It's awesome! I haven't worked there long enough to really have something grab my attention yet. But if we get an AC Wii U poster or cut out I will snatch that!

Haha. Neither have I! I own both the 3DS ones. ALBW and OoT but I haven't played either.
My co worker loves MM so I thought why not!

That's partially why I'm getting one.

The rest of the reason being the analog stick, which I'm still a little skeptical about until I get to try it for myself since it looks questionable. Looks to me like it's either going to be really easy to use or really bad.


I do want MM since it's one of the few Zelda games I've not completed. I only got a chance to play it within the past few years on an emulator and I find it hard to go back to N64 games that I didn't play as a kid (meaning I have nostalgia glasses on) because they just look awful. Aside from that, I always thought it was a cool looking game. Just couldn't get a copy when I was a kid.

I'm more interested in Monster Hunter 4 though, so I'll probably get MM later.



Whether I'll get a new 3DS on release I'm not sure. I probably could since it's released on Feb 13th and I should have more than enough cash to throw at it but it's also my birthday on the 22nd, so I might put it off a little bit until then. I don't really care about special edition versions, I just want a red one.
