well ive been playing ac cf since it came out (legitamitly might i add) and ive just been kinda bored. once i was done buying out nooks finding fossils and mushrooms it just got boring. can you guys help me weigh the differences in tting and not tting? is being bored like this really worth it? or would i ruin the game with tting?

Ive decided im not going to time travel at all. Not even for small things like to get my house bigger (to tt the day after)

It just takes the fun away.

It's been out three days and you're already bored?

Maybe I shouldn't get it then... :p

itll ruin it. any way its not like you have to play ALL day, when you get board do somethin else for a while

Time Travel would destroy your experience you will have time of the year where things can be boring as hell and this is one of those times for myself on the game cube version. But there are other times in spring and summer when things like insect hunting and fishing don't give you enough time in the day.
Ok so nintendo might have released the game at the wrong time of the year but sit it out get all the insects and fish into the museum while they are still there and gone in December. You have Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up and Im sure there will be some party invites in someones town going. The probblem is is that people are rushing into the game to find out whats in it instead of sitting back relaxing and experiencing everything that animal crossing offers. In conclusion don't time travel live it

I'm thinking of deleting my town mainly because I started time travelling. I look at it now and don't think it's worth it for what it would've been. The only reason I started is because it isn't Pick-Up-And play like WW, where you could play it at any time and not miss events. Where-as on City Folk you've got holidays and I can't access my Wii at all times.

I might have to start over though, don't know yet. I could go back in time and just create a new character and use them, it wouldn't feel right though. (wouldn't some of the stuff be sold also?)

Anyways, if you don't find anything fun to do, time travel your heart out. Other than that, try fishing or something. I'm doing that now and it's actually more fun than I'd thought it'd be.

thats the stuff frostyfuzz sit back enjoy it get a year or two out of it there aren't many games like this god knows how many years before the next one so get your money worths

you could time travel bakwards it still sabes the stuff you did in the future

Okay, that'll do I guess. I might do so since I'm only at December 5th.
I'll go ahead and create my female char so I can do things with her while waiting.

Awesomesauce. I didn't know if TT backwards hurt a lot so that's why I asked >.<

only time traveling forwards hurt it gives you weeds and stuff but time travelening backwards you jsut go backwards with howevr the town is no extra weeds or anything but i time traveled in both gamecube and wild world and it didnt ruin my experience

I haven't TTed, but I did delete my town and re-create a new one when I realized what a terrible layout it was. It took forever to get anywhere. My second (and final) one is much better. Nook is even in the middle of the map, making it easier to sell him fish and bugs.

Like in the past two games, I'll do everything that I can do and "beat" the game legitimately before I TT or anything else like that. I prefer to do everything the way it was intended first, I find it more fun that way, and then resort to things like TTing once that gets boring. But if I don't get home from work until really late and Nook is closed, or miss a holiday, or something like that, yeah, I might minor TT here and there.
