ive traded with a couple of ppl to get some but I am looking forward to fall to be able to make them on my own and basically cover my island in them but wow did not know I had to wait until November either!!
Same- it'd ruin a bit of the fun for me! ...Though I am missing a single cherry blossom DIY that I'd buy from someone. I got most of them, and I got all the cherry blossoms myself, but I missed a single one. But, since I still played through the full season and experienced it already, I wouldn't mind buying that one.
Incidentally, I'm in mush season now, and I'm super excited ☺

It appears that you need to "drop" mushrooms to put them on the ground, so they MAY be counted as litter. Not sure. HOWEVER- they look EXACTLY the same as they do before you pick them, so they can be used for decoration, but may affect your town rating.
Once you mush in, you can never mush out, I'm talking from experience here AHAHAHAHA I used to be on the same boat as you, contemplating whether I should buy the DIYs and buy mushrooms (I also use mushrooms dropped on the ground as decor) already so that I could start decorating or wait for it to be fall on my island, but, I decided to just buy everything now lmao cuz I'm too impatient and cannot wait (I hold off to the Tree's bounty things tho, I just bought the mush ones that way I could still look forward on getting my own DIYs on fall)... Like I LOVE the mush furnitures and I use them EVERYWHERE in my island (especially the mush lamps), and tbh, it was so worth it to get the DIYs now as a big part of my island decor are the mush furnitures, idk how I'll decor my island without those tbh... Though if you don't want to buy the diys/mushrooms yet but still wanted to try getting some furnitures, I suggest you go to @KAYYBE shop and buy some for affordable prices, I got some of my first mush items from them!
Personally, I'm still looking forward to new fall DIYs even if I TTed- don't forget Halloween and the Harvest fest will be coming up! Frankly, that might make them harder to get without TTing, like how Bunny Day overlapped with Cherry Blossom season/
Yeahhh I'm also excited as to what more are in store for us in the fall season, like I can't wait to have more creepy stuffs for my island as I'm also planning on using those in some areas of my island and also the harvest fest which hopefully, could make farming a reality in AC:NH, like I want to make legit farms now! But yeah true the DIYs would get much harder to obtain due to overlapping events but that's what make it fun and challenging! At least I won't have to worry too much about the mush stuffs as I already got them ahahahaha...

Yeah, I've decided to cave and buy them. Still got the maple stuff to look forward to at least, and I won't frown when I pass through my Fae Forest anymore.
I was supposed to wait for my mush stuff to appear seasonally for me, since I don't TT past the real date. I also got a bit impatient and bought a couple mush things because there's only a small section of my town that I wanted to decorate. The dream addresses kind of motivated me to "finish" my town so I ended up buying a lot of things I said I wouldn't a few months ago. I've stopped playing actively now because there's not much to do... but I'll probably end up redoing a lot of areas later so buying things in advance isn't a big deal to me anymore.

I was totally set on waiting for mush stuff to appear seasonally... but then somehow i ended up owning a bunch of mush lamps so now here I am with some mush lamps in the one area I was going to decorate when autumn came. i will likely end up changing multiple areas of my island in the future anyway so i'm sure i'll find something else to do!
I personally only trade for stuff that's either annoying or impossible to obtain without help. I'm fine with waiting but then again right now my focus isn't decorating. I also time travel in my new island but I'm in April trying to recreate my previous progress and I've made it a rule to only advance day by day and without going backwards until I complete the active resident achievement, so no going to November and back just yet.

I feel you, if I tt to get them, I won't have anything to do if get all the seasonal DIYs when it's actually in that season. If that makes sense
I was contemplating the same thing. I have started trading for some of the normal DIY's and saw some people also having the mush stuff DIYs up for trade. It was so tempting but I decided to wait though, so I have something to look forward to for the fall
