Tips of villager plot reset

Hi! Im moving in Molly using the villager reset trick however its going by so slowly. I must have been resetting for a day now. I know you can put pwp down in locations in order to make it easier for whatever villager you want to move in move into a place you want but its still very difficult. I heard putting bells down in an area you want works but i didnt work at all for me. Any tips, tricks or exploits? Thanks

Yes PWP will protect areas, but as I guess you realise you can't put any more in now you are actually plot setting.
Be careful of loading always with the new save file, you get so bored/fed up of doing it, that you can easily load up with the Mayor.
If you like what you see with the new character, remember to save with that new character otherwise the plot won't be 'set'.

Any tips - well be prepared to compromise otherwise you can be at this for days/weeks.
Personally when I did plot reset I didn't try for a specific location just excluded in front of bridges/right across main paths.

Edit: flowers, trees, items - these won't stop a house plot, but you could lose items/bells - sometimes they go into Lost & Found - ie Police station, but I wouldn't trust that they would always do so.
