I recently...acquired Animal Crossing GCN, and I'm already in love with it. My town already has a bunch of jokes, such as "Everybody Loves Roald" and "Nook's Killer Cranny". However, GCN is a lot different than New Leaf, the game I'm used to and Wild World, the game I'm getting rather soon. Do any of you have tips about villagers, earning Bells, etc.?

Not too helpful, but all I'd do is fish! I'd even try fishing at optimal times for rarer things, like the coelacanth. I'd always have a hard time catching the better bugs at night in the summer, but that's pretty good too.

-Try to obtain as many raffle tickets as possible. Nook's lottery will give you rare items and NES games if you want to collect them.

-Sea bass go away for the first half of September. During this time, ocean fishing will be incredibly lucrative.

-Your Gyroid has some features not related to saving, including a 4-item closet.

-Travelling to another town will make one of your villagers move there. If you do not want to lose villagers, do not travel to other memory cards.

-Villagers can force you to give them your items. If you are carrying anything valuable, do not talk to any villagers.

-Don't reset. You will give poor Resetti a stroke.
