Time Traveling

So I'm getting sick of the snow in my town and really wanna time travel to at least spring or so. (or whenever the snow will melt) However, I'm concerned with something; I have a lot of flowers. I do have the beautiful town though in action as my ordinance so I don't have to water as much unless I want hybrids. So to get back to the main point, does anyone know if time traveling with the Beautiful Town in action will kill my flowers?
I'm fine with the amount of weeds I'll get since I know it'll only be a little amount. So yeah, can anyone give me an answer please? thanks!

Your flowers will be fine. Pelshko time travelled forward a year by accident and all of his flowers survived thanks to Beautiful Town law.

That's not entirely true. I have The Beautiful Town Law, and weeds grow in my town, but very rarely, so it doesn't get rid of weeds completely. My town grows maybe 1 weed every week...

You definitely did not have Beautiful Town law if most of the flowers died.
