Time traveling help

Hello!
I time traveled a little too far (a year in already)
Will I be able to go back a year (without having any villagers move)
by TTing back when a villager wants to move on a specific date?

Example: Dotty pings me and asks to move on the 28th (2015).
I time travel back to 2014, will she have already moved out?
(Later I'll just tell her to stay).

Going back in time counts as one day I believe, and if a villager is in boxes going back in time will not take them out of boxes.

So I'll be able to time travel safely without them or anyone moving?
(I won't time travel with them in boxes, but before their set date)

I was trying to cycle someone out of my town
and it literally took a year LOL
